Sam Oduor, an enthusiastic news journalist and upcoming TV personality, graduated with a bachelor’s degree in media studies from Moi University in 2020. He has worked for Nyota FM, Nyota TV and Moi Radio as a show and news presenter. In 2019, together with Dennis Kinyua, he was chief editor in producing Coast Watch, a magazine describing the culture, economy and history of the Coastal people.
He is currently the editor-in-chief for Lugari Daily. Sam majors in generating story ideas for news and features; following tips from sources and social media; allocating duties to fellow journalists and advising them on editorial policy, story coverage and perspectives of writing; editing scripts; linking up with marketers and managing the organization’s social media handles.
